Lochs,Glens,Mountains

Plockton harbour

We arrived in Skye in time for lunch. Or I think we did as we couldn’t see where we were for the mist/fog/rain and then wind! The campsite was situated on a lovely loch or so we discovered when the mist lifted. We cut our losses the next day and headed back to the mountains and Glens. Not before we put Skye on our wish list for next year.
We did find a charity shop in Portree-yippee we re stocked the DVD supply and I bought (another) book. I looked through their “vintage” fabrics but nothing turned up that was worth smuggling into the van. We do have limited space and certainly no hiding place from husband. Still undaunted I will keep searching. Mind you I have so many vintage fabric items at home I coud open my own shop!

  1. Lovely pic Barb, Misty is a lot better thanks, she had to have an op on the anal glands in the end but it seems to have done the trick, just the purse feeling a bit lighter of nearly £300 ouch but what can you do but get these things sorted. what a shame Skye didn’t have good weather, maybe next year. continue to enjoy as always keep safe love Joy & Pete.
