Company Sargeant Major Neil Vickery

June 9, 2013

imageWe took a side trip to Worcester to watch the Mercian regiment receive and dedicate their new colours (flag). This was a once in a life time event. My son presented the old colours which will now be retired to Chester cathedral for ever. To say I was/am very proud is an. Understatement. I have never seen him in ceremonial uniform and his medals were very impressive.
We left the family and travelled to Loch Lomand where we stayed on the shores in yet another wonderful site. I am now running out of superlatives to describe the variety of locations. The weather has been very kind to us.

we plan to move onto Glen Coe, Glen Affric and then onto Orkney.
